TerraPay announced the appointment of Bassem Awada as VP – Global for Strategic Accounts and Partnerships . Focused business & strategy leader with 20+ years of experience across healthcare & financial services, Bassem has accomplished various roles pertaining to change management, digital transformation and strategic alignment to drive business growth. In TerraPay Bassem’s role will be to lead the strategic relationships to enable capabilities for money movement across multi-platform for send and receive synergies.
Bassem has most recently held a leadership position at Western Union where he was responsible to drive the execution of the omni-channel strategy across part of APAC and prior to that across the Gulf countries. This included network & product development, key account management, enabling digital assets, supporting M&As and officially representing WU in Board of Directors. Prior to Western Union, Bassem held a regional business leadership role in the Health Care division at 3M in UAE.
