TerraPay joins hands with DOKU to expand global digital payments for Indonesia
January 18, 2022 | TerraPay | Newsroom

TerraPay, a leading global payments infrastructure company, is proud to announce its partnership with DOKU, Indonesia’s first payments technology company, in offering seamless and real-time global P2P and business payments.

This strategic association will enable pay-ins and payout solutions from and to Indonesia. DOKU customers will now be further empowered - from individuals receiving funds from their family and friends across the globe, instantly; to merchants, SMEs and corporates driving fast and safe borderless payouts to their vendors and customers, no matter where they reside on the global map.

The partnership will enable DOKU to leverage TerraPay's well entrenched merchant partner networks globally (with due regulatory coverage). Additionally, TerraPay will be able to leverage DOKU’s strong presence in Indonesia to enable P2P and business remittances. Both the companies’ goals of actualizing a cashless society by creating an inclusive ecosystem for all, is what drives this partnership. This opens doors to DOKU’s thriving and extensive ecosystem of merchants, corporates and SME, to use TerraPay’s adaptive and safe payments technology, boosting global financial interoperability.

Speaking about the partnership Sukesh Malliah, Regional Director, Asia Pacific, TerraPay said “We are thrilled to onboard DOKU as our first payments partner in Indonesia. Our collaboration will usher in the benefits of financial inclusion and independence, through efficient cashless payments, for all DOKU customers - individuals and business beneficiaries, spread across the globe. DOKU will be a valuable partner for our payout services, along with our upcoming Request to Pay product offering. This collaboration will further enhance interconnectivity and financial integration between domestic and cross-border digital payments”

“Our partnership with TerraPay will accelerate acceptance of real time cashless payments across our widespread network. Our customers will benefit from TerraPay’s reliable and convenient payments technology, globally, facilitating payouts for a larger ecosystem. We look forward to a successful collaboration.” said Alison Jap, Chief International Partnerships, DOKU
